SUMMIT

Take Notice that the zoning board of adjustment of the city of Summit, New Jersey, will hold a hearing on May 6, 2024 at 7:30 pm in City Hall Council Chambers, 512 Springfield Avenue, Summit, New Jersey, to consider an application affecting the property whose street address is known as 15 Caldwell Avenue, Summit, NJ Block 3602, Lot 8. The conditions affecting this property and the reason for the application being heard are as follows: 1.) Applicant seeks to clarify the rear yard setback of the previously approved application which appeared before the board on Aug 1 2022 (application # ZB-22-2132). That application was approved on the condition that its rear yard setback would be 27.6’ at the kitchen and 23.4’ at the deck, when in fact the setback testimony should have been 25.3’ at the kitchen and 21.7’ at the deck. 2.) A new survey which was produced also revealed that the approved deck now requires a 7” side yard setback variance. Therefor our application requires side yard setback relief whereas 8’ side yard is required and our application seeks 7’-5”. Applicant requests any other waivers or variances as may be required by the board or its professionals at the time of the hearing The application forms and supporting documents are on file in the Department of Community Services, 512 Springfield Avenue, and may be inspected on any workday during business hours, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Any interested party may appear at the hearing and participate therin, subject to the rules of the board. Kevin Avedisian applicant U130670 OBS April 18, 2024 ($21.60)
