TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD RESOLUTION NO. 2025-183

WHEREAS, by way of Resolutions 2025-08 and 2025-11 adopted on January 1, 2025 by the Township of Springfield (“Township”) Township Committee authorizing professional services contract awards for the 2025 calendar year to the firms Renaud Colicchio LLC as Special Counsel for Tax Appeals and Otteau Group for Real Estate Appraisal services, with respective contract caps of $120,000.00 and $5,000.00 for the contract terms; and WHEREAS, the Township’s administration has determined that an adjustment is necessary to the respective contract caps of these vendors; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available for such adjustments, and for which the increase in cap for the Otteau Group shall be charged to account 5-01-20-150-000-201. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield as follows: 1. The aforementioned recitals are incorporated herein as though fully set forth at length. 2. The professional services contract between the Township and Renaud Colicchio LLC to provide legal services as Special Counsel for Tax Appeals during the 2025 calendar year is hereby amended to reflect a total amount not to exceed $105,000.00 for the provision of such services during the time period from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. 3. The professional services contract between the Township Otteau Group to provide for Real Estate Appraisal services during the 2025 calendar year is hereby amended to reflect a total amount not to exceed $20,000.00 for the provision of such services during the time period from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately. TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD RESOLUTION NO. 2025-187

WHEREAS, the Township of Springfield has a need to purchase a new vehicle for use by the office of Emergency Management to better serve the Township’s residents, business and visitors and to help reduce operating and maintenance costs on existing vehicles; and WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12(a) and N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.29, the Township may, by resolution, purchase goods or services through the State of New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program for certain contracts entered into on behalf of the State by the Division of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury, without the need for the Township to separately advertise for bids; and WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey has awarded a contract to Gentilini Chevrolet LLC as part of Gentilini Motors, 500 John S Penn Boulevard, Woodbine, NJ 08270 through the New Jersey State Contract # T2776S Police Pursuit and SSV: Sedans and Sport Utility Vehicles, with Gasoline Engine expiring April 29, 2026; and WHEREAS, through this Resolution and properly executed contracts the Township desires to purchase one (1) new 2025 Chevy Police Tahoe SUV from Gentilini Chevrolet LLC at an amount not to exceed $57,900.13 which shall be subject to all the conditions applicable to the current State Contract # T2776S. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield, County of Union, and State of New Jersey as follows: 1. The above recitals are incorporated as though set forth at length herein. 2. The Township Committee hereby authorizes the purchase one (1) new 2025 Chevy Police Tahoe SUV more fully described on the attached quote through the New Jersey State Contract # T2776S from Gentilini Chevrolet LLC, for use by the office of Emergency Management in an amount not to exceed $57,900.13. 3. The Clerk, Mayor and the Chief Financial Officer are authorized to effectuate this purchase. 4. The Chief Financial Officer has issued a certificate of available funds which is incorporated herein by reference, and the account numbers to be charged are C-04-25-011-000-00D in the amount of $57,900.13. 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
