TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGFIELD RESOLUTION NO. 2025-276

WHEREAS, Arco Construction, was awarded a contract on July 15, 2025, by Resolution 2025-203 in the amount of $86,639.42 (the “Contract”) and is performing improvements to the Springfield Public Works Garage – Contract SP-2025-04; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer recommends that the Township Committee authorize the following proposed Change Order No. 1 to the Contract for necessary additional metal decking materials outside the original scope of work increasing the total amount of the Contract by $2,200.00 to $88,839.42; and WHEREAS, the Township is allocating funds for repair and maintenance of township facilities and the Chief Financial Officer has certified that sufficient funds are available for the additional work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Township Committee of the Township of Springfield, County of Union, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. All of the above recitals are incorporated herein as if fully set forth at length. The Township Committee hereby approves Change Order No. 1 for the Springfield Department of Public Works Garage – Contract SP-2025-04, as set forth herein above, in the amount of $2,200.00 from account C-04-25-011-000-00C, with a revised total contract amount not to exceed $88,839.42. 2. The appropriate Township officials are authorized to implement Change Order No. 1. 3. The Township Clerk shall publish any and all required notices arising out the amendments to the Contract, in accordance with New Jersey law. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately. WHEREAS, the Township of Springfield (“Township”) has a need renew service contract for three servers; and WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11, et seq. and N.J.A.C. 5:34-7.1 et seq., the Township may, by resolution and without the need for the Township to separately advertise for bids, purchase goods or services through cooperative purchasing system of which the Township is a member; and WHEREAS, the Township is a member of the New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance has awarded a contract to SHI International Corporation, 290 Davison Avenue, Somerset, NJ 08873 through contract no.
