PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Garwood will hold an Emergency Meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Garwood Municipal Building, 403 South Avenue, Garwood, New Jersey, for the purpose of addressing urgent developments related to ongoing affordable housing litigation requiring immediate attention by the governing body. This meeting is being convened pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-9(b) of the Open Public Meetings Act, which permits an emergency meeting without the standard 48-hour notice when the need for such meeting could not have been reasonably foreseen and delay would likely result in substantial harm to the public interest.
