Notice is hereby given that the following Ordinance was Introduced and passed on First Reading on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. The Ordinance will be further considered on Second Reading and Final Passage at the Regular Meeting of the Orange City Council to be held at City Hall, 29 North Day Street, Orange, New Jersey on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at which time and place all persons who may be interested therein will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning same. Information regarding remote access to the meeting may be found on the City’s website at www.orangenj.gov. and Council’s website at www.orangetwpnjcc.org. AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ORANGE TOWNSHIP, CHAPTER 200, ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” SECTION 200-52-1 HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACES. (471 Hillside Ave) WHEREAS, Norma Wint has in her possession a special identification card issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles of the State of New Jersey; and WHEREAS, Norma Wint requested that a handicapped parking space be established in front of her house; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Orange Township that Section 200-52-1 be and is hereby amended to include a handicapped parking space at the location as follows:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that any ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
