BOROUGH OF GLEN RIDGE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT NOTICE OF HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Michael and Kimberly Montagnino have applied to the Glen Ridge Zoning Board of Adjustment for a ‘d-1’ use variance (and either site plan approval or a waiver of site plan approval, to the extent required) to permit the use of an existing detached garage as a private training studio on property commonly known as 18 Lincoln Street, Borough of Glen Ridge, which is identified on the tax maps of the Borough of Glen Ridge as Block 32, Lot 15. Please take further notice that in addition to site plan approval (to the extent required) the applicant seeks any and all variances, waivers, approvals and/or other relief from the Borough’s Development Regulations and Zoning ordinances, including but not limited to the following: Section 17.20.030A and 17.12.030B (Accessory uses). Permitted use (single family dwellings permitted; private training studio as a principal use/second principal use proposed) (‘d-1’/use variance). Please take further notice that a public hearing on the application has been scheduled by the Glen Ridge Board of Adjustment for March 12, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, Glen Ridge, New Jersey Any interested party may appear at this hearing and participate in accordance with the rules of the Board of Adjustment. The plans and documents related to this application may be inspected by the public weekdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the offices of the Secretary of the Board, Municipal Building, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, Glen Ridge, New Jersey. The Glen Ridge municipal building is open to the public but interested parties may request an electronic version of these plans by emailing eideline@glenridgenj.org.(Erik DeLine, P.P./AICP Secretary of the Board). The files will be available at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing.
