ANNUAL REPORTING RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT CALENDAR YEAR 2024

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70.1 provides that a Board of Adjustment “shall, at least once a year, review its decisions on applications and appeals for variances and prepare and adopt by resolution a report on its findings on zoning ordinance provisions which were the subject of variance requests and its recommendations for zoning ordinance amendment or revision, if any. The Board of Adjustment shall send copies of the report and resolution to the governing body and planning board”; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Bloomfield has concluded calendar year 2024 and has heard and decided the following applications and makes the following recommendations for amendments or revisions to the Zoning Ordinance: NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Bloomfield that this Resolution accurately sets forth the actions taken by the Bloomfield Zoning Board of Adjustment during calendar year 2024; and that this Resolution accurately reflects the amendments and/or revisions which the Bloomfield Zoning Board of Adjustment believes should be considered by the Governing Body. RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD PLANNING BOARD

RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD DESIGNATE 78-88 LOCUST AVENUE, BLOCK 129, LOT 70, AS A NON-CONDEMNATION AREA IN NEED OF REDEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING LAW, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1, ET SEQ. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Planning Board of the Township of Bloomfield, that it hereby recommends, by a vote of six (6) in favor and none opposed, that the Governing Body of the Township of Bloomfield declare the Study Area, consisting of 78-88 Locust Avenue, Block 12, Lot 70, a non-condemnation redevelopment area pursuant to the criteria set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-5(b) and (h) of the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law. RESOLUTION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF ANTONIO SANCHEZ AND FILIPE ENRIQUEZ FOR A USE VARIANCE PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40:55D- 70(d)(1) TO AUTHORIZE THE ILLEGAL CONVERSION OF A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING INTO A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING IN THE R-1B, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AT PROPERTY LOCATED AT 33 DEWEY STREET, BLOCK 909, LOT 15. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Bloomfield that the application for a d(1)use variance authorizing an illegal conversion of a one- family dwelling into a two-family dwelling in the R-1B, Single- Family Residential District, at property located at 33 Dewey Street in the Township of Bloomfield, Block 909, Lot 15, be and hereby is DENIED.
