INTRODUCED ORDINANCES

At a meeting of the Township Council of Bloomfield, County of Essex, New Jersey, held in the Council Chambers, 1 Municipal Plaza, Bloomfield, NJ, on March 24, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time, the following Ordinances were passed on first reading. The Governing Body introduced the Ordinances. Title: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 75, “POLICE DEPARTMENT”, IN THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, ESSEX, COUNTY, NEW JERSEY Summary: This Amendment to the Township Ordinance modifies the Bloomfield Police Department’s Table of Organization by permitting up to 12 lieutenants within the department. Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of April 2025, in the Council Chambers, 1 Municipal Plaza, Bloomfield, NJ, at approximately 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, the Township Council will hold a Public Hearing and consider the final passage of the foregoing Ordinance. LEGAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF A NEW MASTER PLAN AND A MASTER PLAN REEXAMINATION REPORT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Township of Bloomfield Planning Board shall hold a public hearing on adoption of a new Master Plan and a Master Plan Reexamination Report at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 7:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Bloomfield Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Bloomfield, New Jersey 07003. The public is invited to participate in the public hearing on the adoption of the new Master Plan and the Master Plan Reexamination Report. The drafts of the proposed Master Plan and the proposed Master Plan Reexamination Report are available for inspection by the public during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the office of the Municipal Clerk and in the office of the Planning Board Secretary, both of which are located on the second floor of the Municipal Building. NOTICE OF HEARING BLOOMFIELD BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that John Santanasto and Pamela Santanasto (the “Applicants”), owners of property located at 56 Clark Street, Bloomfield, New Jersey (the “Property”), have filed an application with the Bloomfield Zoning Board of Adjustment for the following variances in order convert an existing deck to an enclosed room: (a) A variance from Section 315-35 of the Land Development Ordinance to permit building coverage of 32.5% whereas the maximum building coverage permitted under the ordinance is 25%; and (b) A variance from Section 315-35 of the Land Development Ordinance to permit a front yard setback of 7.2 feet whereas the ordinance requires a minimum setback of 20 feet.
